Frequently Asked Questions

Everything we get asked at least once a week, saved here so you don't have to wait for us to stop measuring a credenza.

Do you buy items outright?

Yes. If it's a fit, we'll make you an offer on the spot — see our Sell to Us page for details.

Can I visit outside your listed hours?

We're by appointment most weekdays, which just means we'd rather give you our full attention than have you compete with a stack of unpriced pottery. Reach out ahead of time and we'll find a time that works — weekends we're open on a regular walk-in basis.

Do you deliver or help with hauling large furniture?

We don't offer delivery, and we don't have the staff to help with loading or heavy lifting to the curb. Bring a friend with a truck and we won't stop you.

Can you tell me more about a piece's history or authenticity?

We share what we know — maker, era, provenance, condition — for every piece we can verify. Vintage goods don't always come with paperwork, so where we're not certain, we'll say so rather than guess and hope you don't ask twice.

Do you accept returns?

Vintage and one-of-a-kind pieces are generally sold as-is and final sale, given their age and condition. If something's materially different from what we described, talk to us — we'd rather fix a real problem than lose a customer over a chipped rim we should have mentioned.

Can I put something on hold?

Short holds are usually fine, especially if you're measuring a doorway or convincing a spouse. Just ask in the shop and we'll let you know what's possible for that particular piece.

Do you ship items?

Small items, sometimes — larger furniture generally needs to be picked up or delivered locally given the cost and risk of shipping vintage pieces. Ask us about a specific item and we'll tell you what's realistic.
